In this course, participants learn about the geospatial features and functions of AutoCAD® Map 3D, including how to create, manage, and analyse geospatial data. Participants learn the fundamental and advanced features of the geospatial tools in AutoCAD Map 3D.
Course Requirements
Delegates should have a good working knowledge of the following:
- A recent version of AutoCAD.
- Microsoft® Windows® Vista, Microsoft® Windows® XP, or Microsoft® Windows® 2000.
Course Objectives
The primary objective of the course is to teach participants the geospatial fundamentals of AutoCAD Map 3D through hands-on exercises, as well as how to create, edit, manage, and analyse geospatial data such as SDF or SHP files.
After completing this course, participants will be able to:
· Connect and access geospatial data, including OS Master Map data
· Edit geospatial features
· Manage geospatial features using buffers an Bulk Copy
· Use workflows to solve geospatial problems.
· Use job processes to solve geospatial problems
