Civil Beta

Last week saw us hosting one of our HoleBASE SI Civil 3D Beta Partner Days.  Once we had sent the invites out we were inundated with responses of people wanting to be a part of the day, with all places filled within three hours of the invite being sent .  We hosted seven partners at the event, which was a huge success for us and our partners who attended.

Attendees got to see and use a preview of the next release of the HoleBASE SI Extension for AutoCAD Civil 3D, which is scheduled for an interim release in mid May of this year. We had a very positive feedback from the hands-on session including “the software looks great” and “definitively heading in the right direction”.

Beta day events are very important to us, they are a very direct way of seeing and testing peoples’ reactions to software and interfaces, to ensure we are producing software that will provide clients with a simple to use and very productive solution.

The day evoked some exciting ideas for future functionality and direction of the product, including areas such as customisable log strips and geotechnical modelling tools.  We look forward to moving the product towards becoming a fully featured Geotechnical BIM solution over the coming releases.

Due to the success and popularity of the event, we will be looking to continue to hold more of them over the coming months, please email Gary Morin if you would like to be contacted with more information on these events.
