The development of the next generation of the report template and log design tool continues at a fantastic pace and as such we are delighted that the first release of Template Studio is scheduled for early September (with a release candidate planned for August).  Further details will be made available in the coming weeks.

The continued feedback from the Beta partners has been excellent and greatly appreciated as it assists us with providing something we know will help you. The team have included a whole host of new feature requests and have resolved a number of issues to ensure Template Studio is even more stable and flexible.

If you are currently enrolled on the Beta programme, please be aware that as the development team are now starting to pull together the release candidate, we urge you to provide any further feedback as soon as possible.

The most recent functionality that has been completed includes a standardised expression library, shortcut keys for rapid design, support for down hole charts/graphs and extended formatting and stylisation options.

“We set out to develop an integrated template design tool that would be both quick and intuitive to use, while still providing the power and flexibility for users to design and customise reports to meet their requirements in a matter of minutes (not days!). Only time will tell if we have truly fulfilled the brief but it is fair to say that the development team are extremely pleased, if not somewhat relieved at the extremely positive user feedback we have received and are busy packing more exciting features into the next release!” said Carl Grice, Software Development Director, Keynetix.

Keep an eye on our news section for details of the release date.
