HoleBASE SI Template Studio Beta Programme Day

The launch of Template Studio is eagerly awaited both by our customers and our support staff.  The last couple of weeks have seen fantastic progress with the program following the Template Studio Beta Programme day and as we approach the release of the beta version.

Two weeks ago we invited a number of customers who had applied to the Template Studio beta programme to one of our Beta Partner Days.  All places on the day were snapped up within 4 hours of announcing it and so we had to run a second day just to cater for the demand.

The main purpose of the day was to home in on the features and functionality that the beta partners felt needed to be addressed before release.   Following their feedback 16 new features and items have since been added into the application and the product is more useable as a result of the feedback.

All 12 companies had a morning introduction and training overview for the program and were then given their own machine and a copy of the program to use for nearly 3 hours.

“I have only been using template studio for a couple of hours and I really like it” said Clive Dean from Terramech “The MS Office look and feel and the use of grids make the program easy to understand and pick up.  I have never designed a borehole log before but it is easy and I am excited by the direction this program is taking and I’m looking forward to using it soon.”

It is expected that Template Studio will be available to the beta partners in the next couple of days and full release of the program will be in August.

“I would like to thank everyone who came to the Template Studio Beta Programme Day.  It is great to see our customers as excited about this new program as we are and their feedback has been invaluable in making the program easier to use over the last couple of weeks” said Roger Chandler, Managing Director of Keynetix.  “The improvements to the software have enabled a user to create the standard borehole log template from start to finish in just one hour and this exceeds our initial targets and the performance of the old Visual Form Designer in HoleBASE 3.1”

Template Studio will be on show at the Keynetix stand at Geotechnica next week so if you would like to come and see the program for yourself or enrol in the beta programme please come and see us on stands 36 and 37.
