Tuesday 11th November 2014 saw Keynetix hosting this year’s User Group Meeting and Conference.
This year’s theme was covering the Geotechnical Data Journey Implemented and we gave advice on how the new British Standard on Geotechnical Data Management relates to the geotechnical data journey along with demonstrating the many developments in our software since last year’s event.
We were all hugely anticipating the event as we had a record number of both delegates registered and exhibitors attending; and we have to say we weren’t disappointed. Looking at the feedback, neither were our delegates or exhibitors as 91% said that the content for the day was very good or excellent.
The day was packed full of updates, thought provoking information and most importantly inspiring content for users to take away to maximise the use of their software and the most efficient ways of managing their data.
We had guest speakers from Autodesk and ALcontrol talking about how Keynetix products are integrating with their leading software.
2014 saw Keynetix launch the Geotechnical Data Management Awards, something we were very passionate about doing. We wanted to be able to acknowledge the leading ways in which companies are using our software to process and manage their data. This proved to be very successful as the calibre of entries we received was exceptional. Overall there were four finalists in both categories and the winners were:
Data Capture & Reporting
GIP – Chris Bullas
for his Planning Ground Investigations entry
Data Analysis & Visualisation
Atkins – Jerome Chamfray
For his BIM goes Underground entry
We are very excited about next year’s categories for the awards, so please keep an eye out for our regular newsletter to ensure you enter the 2015 awards.
Once again, the workshops provided some thought provoking questions and we will be collating all this information and all the responses to the Keynetix Possible Developments questionnaire over the coming weeks.
We’re also delighted that so many of you enjoyed having the opportunity to utilise the Software Advice Bar. Something we’ll definitely be keeping for 2015.
All that is left to say is to thank all of our exhibitors for supporting this event and we look forward to hosting all of your once again next year.
