Keynetix User Group Conference and Exhibition Review

Please note that the following news item is an archived article. Therefore any links and information may now be out of date.

Last week saw us host our 25th Annual User Conference, which was a huge success.  Every year we talk about the conference going from strength to strength and we’re so excited that it just keeps getting better and better.

The main message that we’re getting back from everyone this year, is that there was such a fantastic energy and atmosphere throughout the entire event which kicked off on Monday night with an informal dinner.  The theme for the conference was “Enabling Collaboration” and from the feedback we’ve received we were successful in delivering that message.

Once again, we were all hugely anticipating the event, as we had a record number of exhibitors and delegates registered for the event and we had a record number of guests the night before for our kick off dinner, which was a huge success.  The feedback from our delegates shows us that 99% thought the overall content for the day was either good or excellent.

We had guest speakers from Autodesk and the BGS who were able to demonstrate the collaboration that we are working on with them.

Once again, we held the Geotechnical Data Management Awards, which we were all very proud of having launched it just last year.  The level of entries was phenomenal and we are delighted to say the winners were, Geotechnical Engineering, Atkins and Mott MacDonald.

There’s no rest for the wicked and work has already commenced on next year’s event, which we are hoping to build on and make an even bigger event than it already is.

A huge thanks to everyone who supported the event, but special thanks go to our exhibitors:

If for any reason, you’ve never attended one of these events before or need any further persuading to put the date in your diary for next year, here’s what some of our delegates said about their attendance:

“Had a great time, beyond an introduction, simply excited to go back to work; so job well done!  Felt welcome and the content was very stimulating” Ben Jones of Arcadis Consulting.

“Very enjoyable, good presentations, nice atmosphere of friendliness and collaboration” Roy Harrison of Grontmij.

“Enlightening!” Jim Poole of Coffey

“This was my first Keynetix UGM – thoroughly enjoyed it and got to meet with a cross section of people” Jon Geach of ESG

On that note, there’s nothing more to say except, we’ll see you next year!
