New Release of KeyLAB

Once again our development team have been working hard at further enhancing our product suite and as such we are delighted to release the details of the new release for KeyLAB.

As always if you have a current maintenance agreement with us for KeyLAB, you can download this free of charge.

KeyLAB has also gone from strength to strength since the release of KeyLAB 2 in 2012.  Its clever integration with Microsoft Excel® allows you to easily customise worksheets whilst staying in complete control of your laboratory data.  The latest version 2.1.8.4 has the following improvements and updates:[list type=circle_list]

  • Delete Test on Schedule
    • The ability to remove a scheduled test
  • Margin Errors
    • Improved handling of custom margin settings within Excel and printing out
  • Calibration Graph Values
    • Improved handling of values being returned between calibration points
  • Printing to XLS Files
    • Ability to print outputs to XLS files as well as PDF and physical printers
  • Multiple Sheet Printing Errors
    • Improved handling of multiple sheets
  • Password Remember Option
    • Removed the option to remember password as this prevents compliance with UKAS
  • HoleBASE SI Test Schedule Import
    • Added Support to import the HoleBASE SI test schedules
  • SQL Server 2012 Support
    • Removed option for 2005 SQL server support and added option from 2012
  • Improved Client Form Data Entry
    • Added option to copy fields from Project form into the client form for faster data entry
  • Improved Schedule Manager Visualisation
    • Increased default size for easier use on a variety of screen sizes.  This has also been applied to other windows within the system
  • Blank Unit Type Added
    • Added the ability to set a unit as blank within AGS Export
  • Added Save and New Feature
    • On the locations form, added option for save and new to increase speed of work flow
  • Cleaner Design Mode Ribbon
    • All unneeded items removed from ribbon when in design mode.  These reappear once design mode has been exited
  • AGS Export UDF Support
    • Support for user defined fields in AGS export
  • Project Disposal Comments in Schedule Report
    • Allows for project disposal comments to be used in schedule reports.  These are added to cell named ‘Project_SampleDisposalComments’ (with worksheet scope)
  • New Keyboard Shortcut
    • Keyboard shortcut added for group copying in design mode (Control + Shift +S)
  • Batch Schedule Printing
    • New options displayed for batch printing schedules
