The HoleBASE SI Extension for AutoCAD Civil 3D Release Heralds a Very Special Offer for Early Adopters and KeyHOLE Users

The big brother to the popular Autodesk Geotechnical Module has been released, like its Autodesk module the HoleBASE SI Extension for AutoCAD Civil 3D it has been developed by Keynetix.

This is the first release of the new extension and is available to all KeyHOLE users, with a valid Maintenance Agreement, free of charge. The Civil Extension, as with the Autodesk variant, makes full use of the advance ground modelling capabilities in AutoCAD Civil 3D, allowing users to model and visualise Geotechnical data held in HoleBASE SI in seconds. It has the ability to create 3D boreholes, Strata surfaces and dynamic profiles in just in few clicks.

Unlike the Autodesk Geotechnical Module users, HoleBASE SI Extension for AutoCAD Civil 3D users will be able to access direct support and updates from the knowledgeable Keynetix team. It will also be available to all users of  AutoCAD Civil 3D 2013 and 2014 and as mentioned above, free for KeyHOLE users with a current Maintenance Agreement.

“This first release of the extension represents the first steps we are making in utilising the considerable power and functionality of AutoCAD Civil 3D. In the coming months we hope to greatly increase the functionality of the extension, to allow any values stored in HoleBASE SI to be represented in AutoCAD. We have plans to add a variety of functionality, including tools to help manipulate and visualise the geotechnical model” says Gary Morin – Technical Director of Keynetix
