Keynetix Updates – February 2015

Last month saw the first time that we sent you our news in a different format.  From the feedback we’ve had, we think this proved a lot more successful in making sure you are better informed, so we are going to continue with this format and will publish a monthly roundup on our website, here is this month’s.  Please use the comments box at the bottom of the page if you found this to be useful or you have any additional ideas for us to include in next month’s publication.


There are no new software releases to report this month but the team are now over half way through developing the next release of HoleBASE SI and we will update you further next month. In the meantime you may like to watch the series of videos that we produced to show how to use the scheduling features of the release we announced last month – view 6 videos on how to use scheduling

Product Services

February has been a frenetic month for training.  We are now taking bookings for April, both onsite and hosted at our offices in Redditch.  With course fees scheduled to increase for onsite training at the start of April now is a good time to seek a quote, especially for organisations seeking training for multiple delegates.  Individuals considering our training courses may wish to consider


Our YouTube channel continues to go from strength to strength having recently celebrated achieving over 13,500 views. Our most recent video is 3D Borehole Model – Fantastic Customer Visualization Case Study, take a look and see what you think.

Partner News

Tunnel 02We are delighted to announce that our partnership with Kent Langdon of Enzdata has evolved to be able to reach all of our customers wishing to move forward with their 3D visualisation and CAD presentations.
Kent has been working with large consultancies to produce outputs for over 20 years and now as a Keynetix Specialist he is offering his services to Keynetix customers, allowing them to benefit from 3D and CAD skills without the expense and challenge of hiring permanent staff or having to invest in additional software.  For more information and to view his latest work, check out our Outsource your 3D Visualisation and CAD output article.

In the last update we told you about our new partnership with Microsol Resources who became a Keynetix AutoCAD specialist.  Since then, we have conducted a webinar to over 100 Microsol customers to show them how HoleBASE SI and the Extension for AutoCAD Civil 3D can transform the way they view their Geotechnical Data in AutoCAD Civil 3D

Conference News

hackerRoger Chandler, our Managing Director, has just returned from a very successful visit exhibiting at the ANZ 2015 conference in Wellington in New Zealand.  The conference, which is run every 3 – 4 years, attracted around 350 delegates from around the world for a very friendly 3 day conference. Looking Ahead

Over the next few weeks, we will be out and about at various different events.

Next week sees us exhibiting at the IFCEE exhibition in San Antonio, if you are in the area please pop into the show and have a chat with Roger.

We will also be exhibiting at the AGS Members Day in London where we look forward to seeing some familiar faces.

and finally Gary Morin will also be visiting the US in April, so far he’ll be in Denver and New York, if you are en-route and would like us to visit you in any of these areas please get in contact and we will do our best to add you to the already busy schedule.
