Data Management Awards 2019

Data Management Awards 2019

The Geotechnical Data Management Awards has formed part of the Keynetix User Conference for the last five years and is the ideal opportunity to promote your organisation to your supply chain and future clients.

To help, we have tackled the main problems we see with other award ceremonies.  The process is quick and simple, the ceremony takes place at our free Keynetix User Conference Dinner on the 25th November and our staff are on hand to help you determine what would make a good entry.

“Entering the Geotechnical Data Management awards was simple, as we already had data and images that we produced for the client.  Keynetix gave us some assistance during a short phone call but the form and entry only took a couple of hours to complete. If you have an interesting project, or a project where you have saved time or money through better data management, then I would recommend getting involved with this great awards night.  Van Elle have gained significant coverage from our award”.  Jono Wright, Van Elle

Categories

Data Visualisation – Presented to the organisation who uses Geotechnical Visualisation to either improve reporting, convey the risks and results highlighted by a Site Investigation, or to illustrate the need for an initial or further investigation.

Data Collaboration – Presented to the organisation that has implemented the best Geotechnical data sharing and collaboration on, or after, a project.  The focus of this award is particularly on the workflows and collaboration with the wider project team

Data Integration –This award is new this year and will be presented to the company with the most innovative use of the Keynetix.cloud API.  Entries do not need to be live on the system but do need to be working on the Keynetix.cloud sandbox to qualify.

The winning entries will be written up and circulated to the geotechnical press and Keynetix and Bentley partners.  Previous entries have featured in Ground Engineering, Geopract.net, Civil Engineering (USA) Geoengineers.com, Keynetix.com, AGS magazine, Drilling International.

The entries are open to organisations from any part of the site investigation supply chain anywhere in the world.  Each entry should tell a story about a geotechnical data management, presentation or reporting problem you encountered and detail, how you solved it and the benefits your organisation and client received as a result of the solution.  Each entry will be judged equally on the benefit it produced for your organisation and client.

We are all busy; and so we have kept the entry process as simple as possible. To enter just download the entry form and email it to us, together with 4 images (or more, including videos if you want) that way we can it use to illustrate your entry in the Guide and on our websites and presentations.  We can even interview you about your project and write the first draft for you.  Please note it is important that you have permission from all stakeholders before you submit your entry.

In the next few months, Microsoft are retiring extended support for both Windows 7 and the SQL Server 2008 and SQL Server 2008 r2 versions. For users who initially installed HoleBASE SI before 26th September 2014 (Versions less than 1.22.0.x) and users who installed KeyLAB before the start of 2015 and who haven’t already upgraded should particularly check to ensure that they are not affected.
