Final Call for UGM09

Each year for the past 19 years we have hosted the Geotechnical Office User Group Meeting at selected venues around the UK. The objective is to give you the opportunity to air your views on our products and services, and influence our development strategy by telling us what changes and new features you would like to see in the software: HoleBASE, its modules and companion applications.

It is also a chance to learn what new features appear in the latest versions and how you can exploit them to save time and money in your organisation.

Each registered site with a valid Maintenance Agreement (MA) is entitled to send two delegates free of charge to this important one-day event. So if your Maintenance Agreement is up to date and you haven’t yet registered, then now is your final chance – only fifty places are available at each venue.

Here are this year’s venues:

Tues 10th November  Autodesk Headquarters, Farnborough, Hants
Thur 12th November  Hazlewood Castle, Nr Tadcaster, Yorks
Tues 17th November  Warwick Castle, Warwick, Warks

With less than a month to go the attendance lists for the three venues are now filling up, so if you haven’t registered yet then I advise you to do so now.

    Keynetix Appoint Amanda Turner as Commercial Director

    Keynetix are delighted to announce that they have appointed Amanda Turner as Commercial Director. Amanda has over twenty years of commercial leadership experience within technology companies, including two years as ‘Head of Commercial for the GIS company ESRI UK and nine years as Head of EAME for Terrasciences, a leading borehole imaging software company headquartered in Denver, Colorado. Her extensive hands-on experience is strengthened by her PhD in Geophysics and an MBA from Warwick Business School.

    BDA Linear Event Review

    Last week, Mobbs and Oliver attended the “BDA Emerging Best Practice in Ground Investigation for Linear Infrastructure Projects” Event at Old Trafford. The event was really well organised and in a great location, looking out over Old Trafford. It was well attended, had a good vibe and gave Mobbs and Oliver a brilliant opportunity to network with a number of our customers attending the event.
