Keynetix Appoint Amanda Turner as Commercial Director

Keynetix are delighted to announce that they have appointed Amanda Turner as Commercial Director.  Amanda has over twenty years of commercial leadership experience within technology companies, including two years as ‘Head of Commercial for the GIS company ESRI UK and nine years as Head of EAME for Terrasciences, a leading borehole imaging software company headquartered in Denver, Colorado. Her extensive hands-on experience is strengthened by her PhD in Geophysics and an MBA from Warwick Business School.

“I am very pleased to welcome Amanda to the Board at Keynetix.” said Roger Chandler, Managing Director of Keynetix, “We have been looking to fill this post for the best part of a year and Amanda’s background and experience will ensure she is able to have a very positive influence from the start.  With Amanda’s help we will continue to improve services and software for our existing customers while also growing the userbase in the UK and in North America”

Amanda now heads up the Sales and Marketing Department and will be working closely with the Customer Account Managers and Marketing Manager and is delighted to be joining Keynetix at such an exciting time in its history and lead the drive to expand its customer base and grow revenues internationally, especially within the United States and Canada.


Speaking of her appointment, Amanda says “Keynetix is the market leader in Geotechnical Data Management Services and I am thrilled to be joining the company at this exciting time to spearhead the drive for further growth into the US and Canada as their new Commercial Director.  My overriding first impression is of the friendliness of the staff, who have made me feel incredibly welcome. I am also very encouraged by the frequent, open and constructive two-way communication between staff and senior management right across the organisation and by the genuine desire by all staff to support Keynetix’s customers to the best of their ability.”

“My first goal is to raise awareness about our exciting growth plans for the business, both in terms of extending our customer base across North America and in the launch of our ground-breaking cloud-based Geotechnical Collaboration Platform.”

    AutoCAD geology models can now be dynamically updated from edited fence diagrams.

    The latest version of Keynetix’s HoleBASE SI Extension for Civil 3D is set to revolutionise ground modelling, giving the option to dynamically update AutoCAD 3D models when users edit sections and fence diagrams. Keynetix Technical Director Gary Morin said the new features would put modelling back in the hands of engineers and geologists, helping the wider project team and clients to visualise and understand subsurface data much faster and on a wider range of projects.
