One of our company goals for 2015 is to keep you better informed on product upgrades, training, events and support so that you can make the most of your software investment. To do this we are going to publish a monthly roundup on our website – here is our first one. Please use the comments box at the bottom of the page if you found this to be useful or you have any additional ideas for us to include in February’s publication.
The biggest news last month was the release of upgrades to both KeyLAB and HoleBASE SI, Template Studio and HoleBASE SI Extension for Civil 3D.
These products were released together as we’ve added new scheduling tools that allow you to schedule testing for KeyLAB or @MIS from inside of HoleBASE SI. We will be adding more video information on how to use these features in the next few weeks.
HoleBASE SI Extension for AutoCAD Civil 3D also included the support for inclined borehole and Template Studio had a large number of features added, including support for Site Plans, Sections and AutoCAD Strips. Click either link above to get the whole list of improvements and instructions for downloading the new releases.
Another busy month for training, both at Systems House and Onsite. We still have a few places available on our next Mastering HoleBASE SI course on the 17-18th Feb and on our Designing Templates for HoleBASE SI course on the 19th Feb.
If you have a training voucher from the UGM in November please note you must redeem it by 11th Feb.
We celebrated 10,000 YouTube views for our new YouTube channel in December last year. The channel keeps going from strength to strength and this month we have added a new video for AutoCAD Civil 3D users and achieved another 2,000 video views! Don’t forget to subscribe to the Keynetix YouTube channel if you would like to get instant notification as soon as we upload new content.
We also added 4 new articles to the Keynetix Knowledgebase. Please make sure you check out the Product Specification and Support Details article so that you know what versions of our software are currently supported and what platforms they are supported on.
A very exciting month for our North American customers.
In the first week of January we announced the appointment of Dataforensics as an agent for KeyLAB and HoleBASE SI products in North America. This new partnership enables Dataforensics to supply Keynetix’s range of world leading geotechnical data management software to both new and existing customers and will greatly aid Keynetix’s presence in North America.
Then just a few weeks later Microsol Resources became a Keynetix AutoCAD Specialist in USA. With proven success in serving the design and construction industry at every project phase, Microsol Resources is an ideal partner for delivering high quality advisory and support services in the Northeast U.S.
Case studies allow our customers to showcase their skills to the wider geotechnical community and are proving very popular, with many websites and trade magazines running them as stories on their sites and publications. This month we added two new case studies, one on using HoleBASE SI as a GI planning tool and one using it as a site management tool. We hope they give you ideas on how you can use HoleBASE SI to make your company more efficient.

Over the last couple of months we have been reviewing the company archives and trying to remember what we did and when we did it. It has been a very rewarding experience to compile the list of Keynetix Milestones over the last 30 years. That’s right our first milestone was in 1984! See the milestone list for yourself. We have also added Management Staff Profiles to the website so you can see what we look like and find out a bit more about what makes us tick.
We are out on the road this month – or maybe that should be the air rather than road. In February we will be conducting site Visits in Perth, Brisbane, Auckland and Wellington before manning our stand at ANZ2015 in Wellington. If you would like us to visit you in any of these four cities please get in contact and we will do our best to add you to the already busy schedule.
