User Group Meeting 2011 Agenda Released

With places filling up fast for the annual Keynetix User Group Meetings, the organisers are pleased to publish this year’s agenda, which can be viewed below.

Among the highlights of this year’s programme are a first look at the all new HoleBASE, a session devoted to customer case studies and the arrival of the new training and support video site, Knowledgebase.

Keynetix customers in the South East are advised to book their places quickly as only ten spots remain at the Guildford event. If you have any doubts as to the usefulness of these annual events, you may like to view the following video testimonial, which was recorded at our event in 2010:

AGS4 Update: Keynetix’s Managing Director,Roger Chandler,will discuss the implications of AGS4 for your software and explain how your software has been enhanced to cater for the new data transfer format
The arrival of KeyLAB 2: Roger Chandler will explain how we have used your customer feedback to completely rebuild our KeyLAB software
The HoleBASE Revolution! Rebuilt from the ground up, and using the experience gained from the development of KeyLAB2, the new generation of HoleBASE software will be ground-breaking in more ways than one! Head of Development, Carl Grice, will explain how.

Implementing the electronic data journey – Customer Case Studies
Southern Testing: Southern Testing have recently implemented KeyLAB and a new HoleBASE system. Roger Smith is a Director at Southern Testing and he will share their experience of integrating the two systems during his talk.
BAM Ritchies: BAM have a corporate aim to implement paperless data collection, transfer, storage and analysis and will be sharing their experience so far with us.
Soil Engineering (Vinci Construction UK):  Digby Harman is the Innovation Manager at Soil Engineering and has been closely involved with the development and implementation of KeyLogbook. During his talk Digby will share his recent experience of using KeyLogbook on a major Ground Investigation.

An Introduction to BIM (Building Information Modelling)
What is BIM and why is it relevant? Autodesk’s Ian McGregor and Jack Strongitharm will explain what BIM is, why it matters and how it is driving business for consultancies
BIM, AutoCAD® Civil 3D® and Geotechnical Data:Gary Morin explains the relationship between good geotechnical data management and modelling, using Civil 3D®, to create a surface model.

Equipe Training: Equipe Training join us to discuss their experience in the past year with KeyLogbook.
Introducing Knowledgebase:  Head of Training and Support at Keynetix, Phil Child, joins Gary Morin to explain how your feedback from the User Group Meetings in 2010 has led to the development of an exciting new resource.
Round up and a look at the year ahead for Keynetix:  Roger Chandler will summarise the day’s events and provide an insight into our plans for the coming year.

    Keynetix Appoint Amanda Turner as Commercial Director

    Keynetix are delighted to announce that they have appointed Amanda Turner as Commercial Director. Amanda has over twenty years of commercial leadership experience within technology companies, including two years as ‘Head of Commercial for the GIS company ESRI UK and nine years as Head of EAME for Terrasciences, a leading borehole imaging software company headquartered in Denver, Colorado. Her extensive hands-on experience is strengthened by her PhD in Geophysics and an MBA from Warwick Business School.

    BDA Linear Event Review

    Last week, Mobbs and Oliver attended the “BDA Emerging Best Practice in Ground Investigation for Linear Infrastructure Projects” Event at Old Trafford. The event was really well organised and in a great location, looking out over Old Trafford. It was well attended, had a good vibe and gave Mobbs and Oliver a brilliant opportunity to network with a number of our customers attending the event.
